Privacy Policy

In the following policy “You” or “Your” data relates to the account holder. The person who opened the account and who is responsible for paying our invoices when due. This may be the Learner Driver or it maybe the parent or guardian if the Learner is under the age of eighteen. When the Learner reaches 18 we may allow you to transfer the account over to the Learner who will then be responsible for all payments due, at which point the data we hold will be transferred also and you will lose access to it unless the new account holder gives us permission to share it with you.
Your Privacy
It’s important that you understand that we collect your data, process it and securely store it. On your first lesson you gave us or you will give us permission to contact you and record data about yourself so that we can provide you with driving lessons.
The data we store about you includes your name, address, date of birth, mobile number, email address and driving license information. We store this information securely locally and in the cloud. The information securely stored. Local devices include iPhone and iPad. All devices encrypt your data so that it cannot be read if the devices are lost of stolen. The devices are set to destroy local data if continued incorrect passwords are entered. The devices can also be wiped remotely.

We also use MailChimp for emailing customers and we share your data with them. You can find their Privacy Policy at this Link
If you decide to pay by direct debit we will share your data with our payment partner GoCardless. You can find their Privacy Policy at this Link
We use QuickFile to process your quotations, invoices and payments. We share some of your information with them in order to be able to do this. You can find their Privacy Policy at this Link To use the QuickFile service we will supply you a log on to the system. We recommend you change your password to a secure one known only by you immediately. You are responsible for keeping the password safe. If you believe it’s compromised at any time then please let us know immediately.
Your data belongs to you. It is your right to decide how it is used by giving or withdrawing your consent to for us to hold and process it.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) helps to enhance and protect your rights. It provides us with guidelines on how we must respond to anything you ask of us relating to it. For example, if you want to see what data we hold about you, where we store it, why we need it and what we do with it, it’s your right to demand that we tell you. And, of course, we will.
The important thing for us, is that you always feel comfortable providing us with your data. If you don’t, please just get in touch to chat it through. Alternatively, if you feel we may have breached your trust, the Information Commissioner's Office (‘ICO’) is on hand to help you at www.ico.org.uk.
We do not sell, or give away any of your data to anyone apart from you unless you have given us written permission to do so. We hope you feel able to trust us with your data. You can remove consent for us to contact you at any time by email, text messages or phone. However if you remove all forms of communication we will not be able to provide our services to you.
If at anytime you have any concerns or queries about your driving lessons or how we store and process your data then please speak to your instructor. If we know you have a problem we can try to put things right.
